A Friend Of Mine's Son Has Giant Urticaria. My Daughter

A friend of mine's son has giant urticaria. My daughter had it 27 years ago and there was treatment (saw a Dr. Brauer - hungarian doctor in South Africa) which I can no longer find. It was called Polaramine soap and a Polaramine water solution (that I put in her bath water). Together with that I was told to give her 5 ml celestamine syrup and for the rest, a very blan diet of mostly boiled vegetables, herbal teas and no condiments - only salt. She outgrew all of her allergies by the time she was 18 months old (and 8 pediatricians later). Dr. Brauer advised me to take her off all medication and ointments. Today, 27 years later - I am the happiest mom in the world. Now, the problem is that we don't find the Polaramine soap and water solution in South Africa. What can we take in it's place?
