A Friends Wife Who Was Semi Normal Started Asking Him

A friends wife who was semi normal started asking him to leave after over 30 years of marriage...not a great marriage but he was willing to stick it out. She became increasingly adamant so he ask one final time where she said get the F out so he left about 18 months ago. She has become increasingly nutty, paranoid to the point of saying her husband and his friends are laundering money, she's also accused her son. Most troubling is she told her daughter (35y/o) several years ago she didn't want her and wanted an abortion and Dad, my friend talked her out of it. She and her daughter ( who has a significantly disabled child) haven't spoken in at least 3 years. I'm wondering is she's bipolar. tTere are other things which are whacky but my friend tries to be nice, helpful and kind but he's over it
