Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A little background. I am a 65 year old male with no major medical problems except that I take diovan and amplodipine which keep my hypertension under control. I'm 5'8" and weight 235. Tonight I woke up at 2 a.m. because I felt cold. The heat in the house is usually kept at 61 and isn;t normally a problem. So, I put on flannel pajama pants and now the lower portion of my body is alright. However, from the waist up my body is still cold despite the fact that I'm wearing a sweatshirt and a hoodie. I raised the heat to 66 but I'm still cold. Why?
