A Little While Ago I Was Doing Some Self Discovery

A little while ago I was doing some self discovery and just sort of identifying what everything was I guess, and I noticed I couldn't find my urethra. Every single diagram had it in the same spot and I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. I pee normally and have never had a problem with it until now. I eventually found that my urethra was about an eighth of an inch inside my vagina next to my hymen. Of course I completely freaked and when I told my mom she said it was nothing. I haven't been to the doctor's for it and it hasn't caused any medical issues but I was really really concerned and wanted to check it out.
