A person has a drug seizures from a drug interaction that are sever enough that a persons breath stops, these seizures are not treatable by any other means than a drug induced coma. How long and what is the prognosis once a person placed into a coma? The person was sedated for 5 days while they tried to manage the seizures then they decided to place the patient into the coma. The patient has now been in the coma for 48 hours without any seizures but has not coughed, there may have been some eye movement.
