A Psycyiatrist Left Me To "wean" Myself Off Of Five

A psycyiatrist left me to "wean" myself off of five anti-anxiety meds by myself without referring me to anyone else or getting back to me after his vacation. Risperdal and Amitryptilene and Celexa were three of the meds; I cannot remember the other two. It took one year for me to go through the withdrawal of doing this by myself, but I lost 50 lbs. I was 200 lbs at the time. I am a 72 year old female with PTSD, anxiety and depression, rare liver disease (PBC), diabetes, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, as well as IBS and reflux. I am on very few drugs at this time and certainly am feeling the loss of the "help" I received from anti-anxiety drugs - but started to fall and faint a year ago; thus the psychiatrist and my family doctor taking me off of the drugs. I did NOT expect, however, to be left on my own. Is it possible there could be carry-over withdrawal after a year of being taken off of them suddenly? I believe I am experiencing, yet, some of the withdrawal symptoms. Only take 1 Xanax 1 mg at night, bedtime. Please help - my thanks to you. KH ( YYYY@YYYY )
