A Skunk Sprayed Our Home This Morning, And We Woke

A skunk sprayed our home this morning, and we woke to a strong odor of skunk spray. We've had to stay home this morning, but we turned off the heater (where the smell may have been coming from) and put on an air filter in the living room. The smell has dissipated but is not gone. I have a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old. Is there any chance that having inhaled this smell for 3.5 hours could have been harmful to them?
