A Staple That I Accidently Swallowed After Bending Stregit To

A staple that i accidently swallowed after bending stregit to fix a watch band has been inbedded in my neck neck to my adams aple for almost two years and im afraid of it coming dis lodged and me swallowing it which i think happend yesterday but i have had dihrea and gas build up for almost two months. I finally drank a teaspoon of baking soda in a bottle of water and most of the gas is gone. Im mostly worried about the staple. And was wondering what would most likely happen if the staple came dislodged and i did swallow it.
