A Very Heavy Gate Came Off Its Rails And Fell

A very heavy gate came off its rails and fell on me. I now have a damaged knee which won't straighten and scoliosynthesis and am in severe chronic pain. Would knee replacement help me to walk straighter, as my knee is permanently bent and painful I favour it all the time.
