A Week Ago, I Fell And Landed On A Metal

A week ago, I fell and landed on a metal pole with a 1/8 lip. I have a 2" cut, 1/8' deep but no bleeding which indicates a compression vs a cut. The pole pressed into my forearm and created a long crater. No arteries broken. No sign of infection trails in other parts of my arm. I was not able to get to the doctor and it was not bad enough for the ER. I have been cleaning it and using antibiotic lotion and covering it with clean large bandages….2 times per day. It is still red and looks like it is filling in
tissue. I am now letting it stay uncovered for part of each day. Is there anything more I should do?
