A Week Ago I Had A Severe Swollen Painful Trapezoid

A week ago I had a severe swollen painful trapezoid muscle. I was soaking in a hot tub trying to get relief when I ran my hand across my clavicle bone to my thyroid area and there was a very sore area in front of the bone also. I had one lobe of my thyroid removed over 30 years ago and have been on Levothyroxin. I saw my Md. and she started me on muscle relaxer and anti inflamatory drug. The next am the muscle in my shoulder was almost normal but the neck area was not. The swelling had gone down and i can feel a small kernal size lump on the top of the bone. My neck felt like swollen glands and beginning of ear achy feeling. I also have a cough and tightness in my throat. I just had an ultrasound done but havent heard from it yet. Please advise me.
