Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A week ago I missed a step and landed with both feet very hard on a cement surface. I felt a pang along the outside of my right knee but I was able to walk with a little discomfort. By bedtime the pain became so severe that I could not walk on it. I iced it and took some ibuprofen. It felt much better in the morning. But the pain continues to ebb and flow. After being on it for an hour or so, doing chores, etc. it becomes extremely uncomfortable. I have continued the icing although not consistently. Should I be seen by a doctor or am I being impatient?
