A Week Ago I Started Coughing Was All Congested And

A week ago I started coughing was all congested and bringing up green flem. Yesterday the Doctor diagnosed me with acute bronchitis. The Doctor put me on Azithromycin and a Proair hfr inhaler. I would like to know if I can take peppermint tea with that to help quite my cough?
