About 1 And Half Hours Ago I Took A Poop

About 1 and half hours ago i took a poop and noticed red on the toilet paper when wiping. I used toilet paper a few times after that to check if the blood has stopped but it kept going. I was at work so i had to get back to work so i left it. An hour later when my shift was done, i checked it again with toilet paper and there was still a lot of blood. Took me another 30min or so to get home and now it seems like the bleeding has finally stopped. Is this something i could wait to speak with my doctor about as it would be closed right now, or should i be going to a hospital ?
