About 2 months ago, I developed itching on the inside part of both my arms.. Shortly after, blisters appeared and we're leaking fluid so the point that I wrapped my arms in gauze...I went to the emergency room and the physician's assistant said it was not shingles and she thought it was an allergic type reaction or dermatitis infection. it seemed to get a little better after taking the Prednisone she prescribed... I then visited my own doctor a few weeks later, and she also said it was not shingles.. the bigger blisters are gone,. But I still have a red rash which is warm,/hot to the touch, and still some itching and now tiny clusters of blisters are appearing on my hands. I did use Hydracortisone cream for itching, and the red rash feels sort of rough to the touch, and warm, and appears to be flaking skittle,. Can you give me any advice on what this might be?
