About 2 Weeks Ago I Dropped Something On The Head

About 2 weeks ago I dropped something on the head of my 5th metatarsal. It bruised immediately and was sore but went away a few days later. Now I'm having a dull achy pain in the same spot usually at night or when I'm not putting weight on it. I'm always on my feet and am worried about it getting worse. Should i get an x-ray
