About 2 Weeks Ago I Started Getting The Odd Stab

About 2 weeks ago I started getting the odd stab of pain in my left side back rib area. This morning it happened a lot & I could feel it move around to right under my left chest ribs. I took an Aleve & I believe it helped a bit but I have to be still to keep it at bay. Any suggestions?
