About 3 Years Ago After Ceasing T Carbimozale My Blood

About 3 years ago after ceasing t Carbimozale my blood tests returned to normal for about 18 months. I then was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Following surgery, chemotherapy treatment and a short course of anti-angiogenic medication I am cancer free. Unfortunately, the hyperthyroidism has returned and I am once again on Carbimozale. Do you think the cancer treatment caused the thyroid problem to return ?
