About 6 Weeks Ago I Woke Up With A Very

About 6 weeks ago I woke up with a very stiff swollen first joint closest to my nail of my baby finger. It had a dark spot. The swelling was like a sack of something.; A week later I went to my doctor with redness there. He prescribed cephalex 500 mg . I went back 2 weeks later. He thought it was a wart and had a nurse rub liquid nitro on it then and again 2 weeks later. It has gone down in size but does not look like a wart. I have had burning in my thumb nail of that hand. It is quite sore tonight. My Dr. can't see me until Nov. 19. Could this be related to the little finger ?
