About A Month Ago I Was Cleaning My Ear Out

About a month ago I was cleaning my ear out after the shower with cheap cotton swabs and the cotton came completely off in my ear. I tried using better quality swabs with peroxide to get it out but I only made it worse. I saw my Pcp on the 1st of the month and he said there was a lot of build up in that ear and I needed to see an ENT. I have an hmo plan now and I'm waiting for the referral to go through. 6 days ago I started feeling severe pain in my ear and throat. I tried to get my doctor to write something for the pain and infection in my ear. It took him 4 days to call in an anti biotic and nothing for pain, he didn't even refill my migraine medication when it was due and said to wait till Monday. I used a swab yesterday just slightly in the ear and there was pus all inside my ear and the pain in my throat and ear is horrible. I've been deaf in my right ear for days. When I do slightly hear from my eat it is loud humming. On Christmas day I fell and hit my head and had sensitivity to high pitch noises ever since. What should I do?
