About A Month Ago My Son Poked Me In The

About a month ago my son poked me in the eye. The pain went away after two days (or so I thought). Some nights if I wake in the middle of the night the eye will hurt and water a lot. As well as if I rub it the wrong way the pain seems to reappear. What might be causing this?
