Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
About a year ago I had surgery on my peroneal tendon ,and a arthroscopy to see why my foot/ ankle was popping by my tibialis anterior tendon on my right ankle for both locations. It would and still does pop every time I would take a step ,and it was/is loud. The popping had been happening for about 2 years at the most. I am 14 going to be 15 years old and I am very active. To this day my ankle still pops very loudly and i feel it when it does pop. Also the surgery site of where my orthopedic specialist had gone in with the scope has turned pale and thin to where you can see the brighter coloring of my veins and the purple veins as well. It started to turn white about 3-4 months ago. The surgery site of my peroneal tendon is purple and very rough. Also I recently injured my foot during a soccer game causing it to turn into a bruise going up to my toes and having a knot on the side of my foot with a little line of darker bruising and it does as well hurt when I do walk/add my weight onto it. I am frustrated and have been researching and I am looking for some answers if someone could help me out.
