About Four Weeks Ago I Had My Wisdom Teeth Removed.

About four weeks ago I had my wisdom teeth removed. I only had three but my dentist accidentally looked for a nonexistent 4th tooth which left an opening much like the rest. Only now that area of my mouth is a bit swollen on the inside and a few moments ago a very large amount of yellowish puss came out of that opening. Should I be concerned?
