According To The Nutritionist My Doctor Said That My Glucose

According to the nutritionist my doctor said that my glucose reading was 280. However she said that number has no relation to the number I would get with my OneTouch Verio. So #1 my question is what is the range of numbers the doctor gets and how bad is a 280 reading? #2 how do I compare the doctors numbers with my OneTouch Verio numbers ?
