Advise Please. I Took A Pain Pill On Friday Night

Advise please. I took a pain pill on Friday night at bed time and it stuck in my throat. It is still stuck and I have tried hot water, bread, trying to burp on purpose and it will not loosen up. It had now been 4 nights and it feels a little lower than it was at first, but my throat is so sore. Are there any suggestions you may have? I am leaving for Mexico in two days and I am a little nervous.
