Afro-American Male 47 Years Old Had A Witnessed Seizure Like

Afro-American male 47 years old had a witnessed seizure like activity, had grunted while laughing, then suddenly eyes were opened but could not focus, unable to respond to name with a slight hand twitch for about 30 seconds, then was able to respond. Did not remember event. What could have caused this? Does not have Hx of Seizures.
