After A Very Strong Hit On The Head With A

After a very strong hit on the head with a iron bar, I have lost 50% hearing in one ear and have a odd sense of taste on the same side of my toungue. I had a scan that showed a superior canal dehiscence on that side. My ear on that side was explored and the bones, etc are intact. What type of additional analysis should I have done?
