After Bronchitis For The Last 2 Weeks, I Feel Better...cough

After bronchitis for the last 2 weeks, I feel better...cough is only in the am upon arising. Medication is finished. But I now have a sore throat, very thick throat and a drip. Should I return to my Dr. or is there something I can do at home? Does bronchitis take this long to go away.
