After Drinking Alcohol And Eating , The Next Day I

After drinking alcohol and eating , the next day I am unable to eat or drink anything. I have dry heaves from deep down in my stomach that results in cups full of foamy clear spit up . I can't go on like this ! All tests were negative for ,well,anything wrong . Lots of tests. My primary Dr says it's my phrsnic nerve ? And it is rare . I am an active 46 year old male with no health issues...besides this !! On no medications. Please help me
