After Having Sex With My Husband I Have A Two

After having sex with my husband I have a two inch cut on the inside of my left butt cheeck from his ring. I have been putting antibiotic ointment and gauze washing area regular. It is about a 1/4 inch wide. Will this eventially heal or do I face the embarrsement and have my butt checked out. Do they stitch? Can't, won't even think stapled!
