All I Have Cracks In My Nostrils And They Have

I have cracks in my nostrils and they have been swelling,with loose skin every morning around the front of my nose. It burns & I have times of a runny nose. I brought this up to my primary care about 4weeks ago, he looked in my nose.. gave me Mupirocin ointment told me to use it 3 times a day. It's worse,now I have sores on upper lip, is this something more I should be worried about ?
