All Of A Sudden I Got Up Yesterday Morning And

All of a sudden I got up yesterday morning and the bottom of my foot, in the middle, right before the toes is very tender and swollen. Maybe that is considered the ball of my foot. It us painful to walk on and as I am sitting now with no pressure on it, it is still painful. Any idea what this can be?
