All Summer I Had A Silver Nail Polish On And

All summer I had a silver nail polish on and kept reapplying it. I got it off a couple days ago with nail polish remover and all of my toe nails were orange. I also play a sport if that has something to do with this and I'm a teen. Is this something I should be worried about? A fungal infection?
