Although I Have Been Treated For The Sciatica Nerve Pain..there

Although I have been treated for the sciatica nerve pain..there are issues I now experience I don't understand:1) my ankle swelled up for no apparent reason. Went to ER they prescribed a stocking. But since I had ordered one already I just started using that. The swelling went down but now I have a large knot on both feet where ankles use to be. Went to foot doc he said it will never go away and since they don't hurt he wouldn't recommend surgery. Now behind the knee of one leg I'm having sharp pains...What is going on ?
