Am Getting Epidural Injection Friday For Lower Pain. Was Prescribed

Am getting epidural injection Friday for lower pain. Was prescribed tramadol HCL 50 MG for pain Only have been taking one each morning but wondering if I should discontinue at this point prior to injection And just really read side effects. Thinking I should not take. Received medicine from home state and on vacation another state where I will meet Doctor Thank you
