Am I Protected After Taking Birth Control Pills Without A Break?

i took my pill late and because i only had 5 left in the pack i was careful for seven days but i took the 5 pills and then carried straight on with my next pack with no break i then forgot 2 take my pill last night but i have taken 23 pills with out a break if i have my break now will i be protected ?
