Am Presently 38weeks Pregnant And I Did A Growth Scan

Am presently 38weeks pregnant and I did a growth scan today, baby has always been measuring 5days ahead but today baby is measuring 37 6days, a day behind!! And estimated weight is 3.1kg, with a grade 3 placental maturity. My doctor says I should do a c-section as soon as possible! But am confused and don't know what to do!!!
