Anesthesiologist Found A Large Lymphatic Mass At The Base Of

Anesthesiologist found a large lymphatic mass at the base of my tongue during intubation for spinal fusion surgery.ni have no reflux or GERD, no soreness except by my ear occassionally that does not last lapng...i do have constant tinitus ringing in my ears that gets louder sometimes. I smoked for 30 years but quit anout 6 years ago had a biopsy and doctor said he was taking 3 pieces. Waiting for flow cytometry test results. Would there be any other reason than lymphoma or throat cancer for this growth? I was nt given exact size but told it is considered large
