Approximately 6 Months Ago I Tested Negative For All STDs

Approximately 6 months ago I tested negative for all STDs except Chlamydia which was positive. I do not remember if a throat swab was done. Treatment was with an antibiotic (2 pills - I don't recall what) right after diagnosis. Two days ago a former sex partner told me he tested positive this week for oral Chlamydia. Most recent sexual contact was early November, 2015. Could I have oral chlamydia? Based on available info, I have no symptoms. Do I need to get a throat swab test to know?
