Are Diltiact And Diltigesic Both Same?

Hi, I am sufferring from Anal fissure. Doctor advised to use Diltiact. Doctor also explained how to use it, using the applicator which can be inserted up into the anus. The pharmacist gave me Diltigesic instead, he confirmed both are same. But when I opened the pack at home donot find the applicator inside. The instructions suggest to insert it using my finger. I cannot do that, as it would be extremely painful and almost impossible. Thanks
