Are Indapamide Hemihydrate Tablets Advisable For Daily Usage?

I have been taking daily dose x 1- Atorvastatin 10, Coversyl 10 + Atenolol 50mg for the last 9years and 8 months, my BP and in fact all vitals have remained steady for the last 8 years with BP average around 130-70 pulse 60/70 s which I monitor 4 or 5 times a month myself as we have found the moment i even think of a white coat BP rises. Now however Doc has prescribed me with Indapamide hemihydrate 1.5 mg modified release tabs to be taken periodically as well. is this a good thing?
