Are Nizoral Shampoo And Lotion Same?

My two year old son has a dandruff problem, we stay abroad. When we were in India, we were advised by one of the Doctor to use Nizoral shampoo for my son. Unfortunately it is out of stock now and later it was changed to KZ shampoo. But the one which i received from Indian is lotion. Could you pls confirm whether Lotion & Shampoo are one and the same or is there a difference ?
