Are Norco Pills Sufficient To Reduce Pain After Surgery?

What pain med will work for me? I m opioid dependent on maintenance therapy with Buprenorphine. I m having surgery on my hip next week and the surgeon says he s going to give me Norco. Will that be enough to manage my pain? He seemed to suggest that he s going to give me less medicine because of my past problem. Isn t that the exact opposite of what he should do?
