Are Probiotics Advisable For A Person With Chronic Kidney Failure?

my father-in-law suffers from end state kidney failure, his creatinine level is 7. I came across material that suggests that probiotics can be introduced into the lower digestive track that would grow on the excess toxins that the kidney was unable to process. This should relieve his discomfort and possibly relieve the load on his kidneys. The manufacturer is Kibow. Do you think that this approach can be safely adopted?
