Are Probiotics Advisable For Bacterial Vaginitis?

Hi I have symptoms that are very like BV, although I was tested and it came back negative. My doctor gave me a vaginal cream for 7 days which cleared it up, but now it has returned. I ve been reading online about taking Probiotics to treat this - what would you recommend?
