Are A Coated Tongue And Taste Changes Associated With Any

Are a coated tongue and taste changes associated with any kind of vitamin deficiency? I have type I diabetes and am a breast cancer survivor. For the past 2 weeks I have had a headcold which started out as a sore throat and turned into a stuffy nose and cough. The taste changes I have remind me of how the chemo drug Taxol affected my taste. I usually take zyrtec but switched to Allegra-D because my mouth was itching so badly. Besides infusing Novolog insulin with an insulin pump, I also take levoxyl, methotrexate for rheumatoid arthritis, Trazodone for sleep, Alendronate for osteoporosis, baby aspirin, citrucel, calcium, restasis, foliate, and Naprosyn. Any idea why my tongue is affected?
