Are Birth Control Pills Safe To Take With History Of Ovarian Cyst?

hello. i am 43 and had a partial hysterectomy 13 years ago. in the last year i have had ovarian cycsts. I went to my doctor and he put me on birth control pills for 3 months to see if that would help get rid of them. I am worried about being on the pill at my age
