Are Brown Spots A Sign Of Pregnancy?

Hi,

I had a protective sex 3 weeks ago and from past 5-6 days I am getting brown spots. I had a pregnancy test through prega news and the result was negative(before the approx time of my periods).
Now I am worried if its a sign of pregnancy..
Please help me to understand this
