Are Bruises On Thigh, A Normal Occurance Post A Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy on Wednesday. They found and removed 3 benign polyp.Just now (Friday evening) I have noticed a very large purple bruise on the inside of my thigh - 8 in diameter. I am also experiencing moderate lower back pain.Could these be related to my procedure?
