Are Clotting And Scab On Injury Site Sighs Of Infection?

i was attacked by a dog on sunday. at the er the doc gave me a persciption for antibiotics, but said to wait 2 days to see if it starts to look infected, since i have allergies to many antibiotics. the bite on the arm is sort of pink around the scabs that are forming, and the bit on the leg is just starting to clot. my temp is 99.2. is that a sign of infection, or do i not need the antibiotics.
